Electric File Certification Hands On Course
COURSE is Open to
-Licensed Cosmetologists
-Licensed Nail Techs
-Licensed Cosmetology/Nail Tech Instructors
-Current Cosmetology/Nail Tech Students
This foundational course in the safe use of an electric file for nail enhancements, manicure and pedicure services is a great place for current cosmetology students/nail techs students, licensed cosmetologists & nail techs and licensed cosmetology instructors/nail tech instructors. Instructors will be certified to operate the e-file **NOT** teach the course
COURSE OVERVIEW
Mastering the use of an electric file requires both theory & practical, understanding of the principles, but also hands-on training. This course provides guided learning presented with audio, videos and targeted photos as well as assigned practice exercises.
Length of Class: 3 hours
COMPLETION of COURSE
Students will be able to professionally utilize an electric file to aid in proper manicuring, pedicuring, and nail enhancement application.
Students will learn cleaning & disinfection, client safety, mechanical specifications & uses, and nail applications & procedures.
CERTIFICATION
Must successfully pass written test & demonstrate proficiency in electric filing
Physical certificates WILL NOT be administered by INSTRUCTOR
ALL certifications will be added to license by BOARD ONLY
CURRENT LICENSED student(s) certifications will be added to CURRENT license profiles by BOARD ONLY, if you desire duplicate license you can obtain it by completing the appropriate form on BOARD website
*** Student(s) in School ***
1. Student completes all requirements to receive Electric File Certification.
2. Instructor completes certification form verifying all requirements have been met.
3. School attaches completed certification form to final transcript submitted to BOARD
4. Once student(s) has tested and passed theory & practical exams and submits paperwork for license, BOARD will add the electric file endorsement to the student’s license

Kits include nail drill, nail finger, nail tip, nail bits, nail glue, nail buffer, nail dust brush, acrylic powder, acrylic liquid, nail brush, nail forms, glass dappen dish, easy to use acrylic nail supplies for beginners
Scrubs & closed toe comfortable shoes are strongly suggested .
SNACKS & WATER will be provided!
NO visitors or children will be allowed to sit in class!!!
